Dear all expertise!
I have an old software call CadKey19, this software working on the old windows such as 95, 98 and windows NT, it reads its SIM from parallel port, it still worked well when it is upgraded to windows xp
the problems came when the motherboard was dead. I replace the motherboard without notice of parallel port. the SIM was locked,
I installed PCI to Serial port and tried to configure ports, it required the following information: Bus Address, Bus Number, Bus Type, address space, port type and port ownership method. Does any expertise know how those terms are called in Windows XP?
I tried many PC Audit software, Hardware Doctor and even analysis the bios, CMOS and still not able to find those info
