Me and RAM.
This is just a precaution I'm taking here. A simple clarification, if you will.
I will be purchasing my new parts tomorrow for the new rig, one of them being RAM. I was told my mobo can slot DDR2 800/PC2 6400 sticks and higher. So does this means if I were to buy DDR2 1066/PC2 8800 (for whatever reason) RAM, would I be able to use it? Will my mobo just clock the speeds down, or will I be able to utilize the RAM to it's fullest (without OCing)?
