Hey guys, im having a serious issue with iTunes.

Im using iTunes 6 right now and I can't update it, delete it, or anything, its kind of just in memory limbo. I would really like to upgrade to itunes 8 because i plan on getting an ipod touch soon, and I would like them to be compatible. This is the error I get when I try to upgrade to itunes 7:

The feature you are trying yo use is on a network resource that is unavaiable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder xcontaining the instillation package 'itunes.msi' i the box below.

I'm really not sure what to do, i cant find this itunes.msi file.

Thanks for your help in advance =D

Manually delete it? Try deleting the files and removing the registry entries. Then you can reinstall and uninstall it just to be sure or just try to install v8.

Then use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/

To clean up references to iTunes / Quicktime etc...
Then after a reboot pull down the latest iTunes / Quicktime from Apples site.

It won't. The files are still physically on your disk.
