Downloaded and running it now, Seems just as fast if not alittle faster but Its more stable than chrome was for me

I'm sure I'm the vocal minority here, but given the fact that Chrome is in its infancy, I feel that this stripped down release is a detriment to the project.

- Chrome is open source, which means that Google would not in their right mind release something that reports attributable data on the users of Chrome that would even approach the <i>realm</i> of privacy invasion. It would be PR suicide.

- Usage data, in terms of what application features people are using, what errors they are experiencing, etc. is invaluable to the process of refining and improving a software product. This data has no impact on the individual users, but a huge impact on the software development cycle.

On the bright side, the likelihood of a significant number of potential Chrome users opting for this obscure release is low.

I'm with "big brother" on this one. Anonymous usage feedback, when available, is invaluable when it comes to determining where to focus development resources.
