Whereas some games with downloadable content sort of fizzle in the execution (gee... Another new skin for my race car!), others pull it off extremely well, and the very best ones make you feel like you got a whole new game when you get the latest ... Continue reading

    Great article Prime!

And yes, I completely share the same ideas about the distinctly different playing styles between Guitar Hero and Rockband. I could explain what those differences are.. but you have it all wrapped alerady.

    Again, great article!

::edit:: Tonight I'm off to a Rock Band party. Woot.

I love rhcp and was also influenced by their music a great deal. Breaking the Girl is one of my all-time favorites. I had to download it and Naked in the Rain. I heard about the travesty that is their censoring of Sir Psycho Sexy and decided not to download the entire pack and only hand-select a few songs. I just wish Aeroplane could've been thrown in there! Too bad it was an album pack instead of an artist pack; they have so many great songs!!!

Sharky, I know it seems counterintuitive to buy the track pack now that you own two of the songs, but brother, trust me, the whole thing is worth it. You've got to play Funky Monks, Mellowship, and the Greeting Song especially. -TK came over last night and we played four player with Perry and Kyle, and had SO MUCH FUN. It was all brand new again!

I'd be really curious to see this track pack on RB2 with the Ion drums. I'm betting that getting up to expert level on drums on Breaking the Girl or Suck My Kiss would be akin to actually playing the songs in real life. Drum simulator ++

Or just come up for Oktoberfest and we'll rock out :rarr:
