GPU2 temps?

I've got GPU2 installed on my Lanbox/ HD 3870 rig. When it's going the GPU sits between 79 and 80 Celsius. Is this too hot or to be expected? I shut it down for now until I can find out more regarding what temps are acceptable and what are dangerous.
