Hello All,

Work computer had one of those crappy Smitfraud wallpaper hijacker virus threats (IE: "Your computer has a virus! Install our crappy spyware program NOW!")

Smitfraud isn't too hard to deal with, but since I couldn't find mention of the file I found in the registry anywhere on the net, I thought it might be prudent to have record of it for anyone else to search on.

lphcatdj0ejww.exe

you'll also find:

phcatdj0ejww.bmp

phcatdj0ejww.scr

EDIT: This one is tougher than I thought. I've used half a dozen tools (in safemode) to try to remove this sucker, it just keeps rebuilding the three files above after a restart!

Any help would be appreciated
