Apple Releases Update to OS X Panther

Apple yesterday released an update for OS X "Panther", the minor update offers a variety of tweaks and bug fixes. The operating systems version number has now been brought up to 10.3.2.

[blockquote]Customers can download the free update through the Software Update mechanism built into Mac OS X. The release will also be available at Apple's Web site however it had not been posted at press time. On November 10, Apple released the first Panther update, Version 10.3.1, which included changes to WebDAV, FileVault, and FireWire 800 drive usage, as well as tweaks to disk-image mounting, printing, and iDisk access. Apple shipped Panther, the latest major Mac OS X upgrade, on October 24 with a single-user price tag of $129.

According to the documentation, the 10.3.2 update also includes new drivers for ATI and Nvidia graphics cards, and ties in security patches that the Cupertino, Calif.-based company has already released separately.[/blockquote]
