Windows 7 in 1H09?

It has been widely speculated that Windows 7, once scheduled for 2010, has actually been scheduled for a 2009 release for some time. After today, the signs sure aren't pointing any closer to 2010. In fact, if recent details are to be believed, the OS in on track for release in the first half of 2009.

    Don't hold your breath for a lean mean product, Buddy J. A massaged Vista will be more like it, from the little I've read so far.

    I'm skeptical but optimistic after hearing they're letting the Devs cut things that would otherwise be forced through by marketing. That's as good a sign as we've seen from Windows in the past 3 years.
