overclocking potential?

Does anyone know if the amd 64 3000+ is a good overclocker?

    For the price/performance ratio, stick with the Barton/TBred CPU and OC a 1800+, 2500+ or something like that. A lot cheaper and you wont notice a lot of difference between the 2.

    Typical range of this 2.0 default chip is 2.2-2.3 AFAIK. Not spectacular overclockers. One major problem is lack of properly locking PCI/AGP bus, *most* mobos are NOT locking down.

    Plus, it's single channel memory, in 3 months or maybe a bit more socket 939 dual channel will be the one to have in (I think) this same price range.
