In demonstrating that copyright is worth "protecting" only for as long as DRM is worth supporting, it's a well-known (and often corporate-advised) trick that burning protected tracks to a CD and ripping them back to disk will foil DRM. Irritatingly, this process produces a CD you're probably just going to throw out when you're done.
