Need software recommendations for minimal system...

I'm building a PC out of my spare parts pile. This thing will only have 128 MB of RAM in it, because that's all the spare RAM that I have. I plan on using WinMe because 2000 and XP won't run on 128 well at all... I need a few other applications, preferably freeware, that will run within the 128 MB constraint also.

Here's what I need:
Firewall (is TPF free? Is it any good? is it even the least memory-intensive?)
Antivirus (I have Norton, but it's a memory hog)
RAM Defragger

Anything else I'd need for security?

Thx.

Actually, I refuse to use ZoneAlarm. I use Sygate on my XP systems, because it provides better security than ZoneAlarm.

I was looking for something that uses less resources than either ZoneAlarm or Sygate.

AVG looks good. I'll have to check that out. Cacheman too.

I really dunno. I have a router and it's been awhile since I've used firewalls. I used ZAP on a xp machine with 128mb of ram and it ran fine. You just gotta tweak it a little ;)

Try Tiny Personal Firewall...it plays well with Me and doesn't use a lot of resources.
I'd say that AVG should be ok in Me with 128mb of ram but just remember that Me is a memory hog as well and just running the firewall and AVG in Me will probably end up using most of that memory because of Me's poor memory management.
For the memory defrager try Rambooster, it's free and works pretty good.
