I have a problem and would be grateful for help PLEASE

Last week on the 11 March my computer downloaded two M/S updates numbered KB906225 and KB958690 and entitled Security Update for Windows XP as well as a Critical Update for Windows Media Player 11 KB959772.

Since then I have had problems accessing my Email provider i.e. fastmail.fm and yahoo.co.uk and various other sites using either IE7 and Google Chrome. In addition I cannot access MSN and Outlook express.

Trying to be clever I thought I might try reloading my IE7 but when I do I am told
"Set up could not verify the integrity of the files needed for installation. Make sure that Cryptographic Service is running on this computer”.

Being very ignorant of what this meant I had a look on the web and found a site telling me to look at Control Panel, Administrative Tools and services. I LOOKED at the site and noted that Cryptographic tools had been started automatically but did nothing as I did not know what I was doing.

I note you have a programme which says it corrects such a problem. Please can you advise.

Though I live in the UK if it is of help I can phone you either on a land line or Skype if you would kindly let me have a phone number.

I repeat your help would be greatly appreciated
