Headsup ATI users! A new set of Cats are out for those who didnt check the ATI site.

The change note is absolutely massive, so I won't go through it.

Get them in the usual place ;)

Apart from a massive list of gamefixes, i find this as a great improvement:

Windows 2000 no longer detects the secondary CRT display adapter as the primary display adapter

As this is the first time I have ever updated ATI drivers, do you have to remove the old ones like you do with the Nvidia Drivers, or can you install over the top?

For those of you having trouble with ATI's site, we're mirroring the driver and the control panel for the faithful members of this site:

    Driver

    Control Panel

These are the Win2K/XP versions, so if you use something else, you're on your own.. :)

The optional components, such as MMC, Remote Wonder, etc. have not changed from the previous version.

    From release notes:

"The 3DMark2003 shader optimizations found in previous CATALYST™ releases have been removed"

    Interesting...

Have to say, Installed a treat. Just been having a game of Unreal 2 and it may just be me, but things seem a little crisper and sharper than before.

Will these work on my laptop? It has the ATI Mobility Radeon

You will have to check with your Laptop manufacturer for latest drivers for your machine (according to ATI's website anyway)

Your best sticking with them for now. I know dell laptop can be fussy over drivers.
