Background images in HTML emails

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use an image as a background to a newsletter campaign. It seems that 'background="http://123.jpg"' will work in most browsers aside from Outlook 2007.

I read that OL 2007 uses a different rendering engine to that of other E-mail clients. If that's the case, is there no way to set a background image that can be interpreted by all E-mail clients?

This code might help:

Replace the http etc. with the actual image, host it on a site like TinyPic.com or ImageShack.us and another thing you might want to change is the background color, currently it's set at white.
