This is embarrassing. I'm working on someone's computer. Hooked their drive up to the computer I use to work on others' computers via IDE slave, go to open up the d:\ (hard drive), and "C:\resycled\boot.com is not a valid Win32 application" error msg pops up. Now I can't seem to get my computer clean. I'm currently running XP SP3 and don't have it hooked up to the internet (though I easily can). I've tried running multiple scans with the usual ones I try (avg, spybot) and some that I read might help with this specific problem... nothings working in full. I just tried going into safemode and it hung after the bootlog... I decided I need real help. Tail between my legs:
