NEED MIC DRIVER?

not sure if this belongs here, but here goes...

recently had to redo my computer after a hard drive crash. it is an inspiron 1520. I can't get the mic to work and I can't find where to download the driver (I have searched the Dell drivers page for about an hour). I may have just missed it though... does anyone happen to be aware of which driver applies to the mic?

    You need the sound driver... The mic is part of the sound card.

    go to dell inspiron site... download drivers... that should fix it ;)
