hey all, :usflag:

I'm looking for something that works in d/ling an embedded flash video off of a website.

I'm currently using firefox 2.x under Win98se. the website I'm trying to d/l a video is a redlight camera site that goes by the name of www.photonotice.com.

the site apparently uses some form of embedded flash and uses the JW player to run the flash video.

I used the firefox extension (download embedded 0.5) which detects embedded links which allowed me to d/l the file (it saw player.swf), however it was unplayable, it just shows a black screen with a youtube style button in center and the filesize of the file was small; less than 50K. It was able to identify its real filename which matched the name on the video, that file was also unplayable, the filesize was also small, in this case less than 2K. it looks like this site spoofs/hides its real file from being displayed and uses the player.swf as cover. I could not find the real filename in its website source code, just the player.swf was in the code.
:banghead:
any suggestions????

um, yeah, I ran the red light if anyones wondering.....
