Using a Wireless-G extender with an N-router?

Hey everyone! :D

I have a quick question...can I use a wireless-G network extender (used to rebroadcast the wireless signal so it can cover more area) with a Wireless N router?

My router is a Linksys Wireless N, and extender is a Linksys product as well.

Can anyone give any advice on how to set this up?
I WOULD use a Wireless N extender but I can't find any, and I don't see why a Wireless G one wouldn't work in its place.

Thanks in advance!

802.11g and 802.11n are compatible. You should be able to get 54 MB/s (35 MB/s average) without a problem. Somewhere in the configuration should be a "band" selection. Pick the one that says b,g,n (and maybe "a" also).
