    What do you think I should ask off for? I'm not asking off the 19th to relieve 'time off' strain. I may get off at 9pm, in which I'd drive straight to ICHQ after work and be there a little past midnight.

    But should I ask for Sunday off? If I don't, and I work Sunday, I don't have to be at work until 5pm, so I could leave Sunday afternoon (just like I did for winter blast.) Is sunday worth being in attendence longer for?

    Just wondering because it may make things easier for my ridiculous job that gives me crap for asking off time.

    @Lynx: Sunday is entirely up to you. It's usually a lounging day for events like this :)

    Friday, Sat, then leave Sun afternoon would cover everything that is going to go down, I am sure.

    Breakfast will not be too late Sun morning, so you won't miss that.

    I'm a vicious liar, I thought you knew that Fatcat! (In actuality, I just realized that that was my spring break, and that I should have plenty of time to come since I'll have a whole week to work on those pesky student papers!)

    After checking Houston, Austin, and San Antonio this was the only option with a returning flight on Sunday.

    Which means to I will be leaving for the airport at 2:30 or 3am on Thursday. I can't wait. :wtf:

    I shall schedule my arrival on Thursday to stop by the Airport and pick ya'lls up :)

    Any of the Missouri/Ill people looking to carpool? I think I can fit one extra in car or would obviously be willing to split costs with someone. GF and I are clear that wed at 5pm on for once so it may work out.

    I can't make it to ICHQ, but I'll be at McNamara terminal from 4:30 to 7 on Saturday 3/21. Anybody want to come get a drink with me?

    The only trouble is that it looks like there are no restaurants outside the gate area at McNamara except for coffee shops...

    unfortunately, now with security restrictions, it's impossible for someone to visit you at an airport where the restaurants are. The only thing outside the gate at McNamara is a Caribou stand :(

    That's why I couldn't hang with any people last summer when I had 3 hour layover in Detroit coming home from LA.

    ...that and it was 4 in the morning

    They used to let people go through security if they were meeting someone at a gate, but they don't allow it anymore.

    I think the only exception is if you are meeting or dropping off a small child flying alone.
