Awkward WoW Conversations

Everybody that's played WoW has at least one. I shall share my favorite. (In case you are familiar, each class has a spec to choose from. I am a priest, so my choices are holy, shadow, and dicipline.)

Person: Hoyle?

Me: Bless you.

Person: Are you Hoyle?

Me: No, I'm Shadow.

Person: Oh, Holye told me to roll on Firetree. Thxs tho. ((At this time, I realize that Hoyle is a guy, not a misspelling of the spec Holy))

Me: NP <by this="" time,="" i="" realize="" that="" hoyle="" is="" guy="" and="" not="" a="" misspelling="" of="" holy="">

Person: k.
This person is now offline.

That player does not exist.

I was like WTF?

Anyone else have strange WoW happenings? share plox</by>

    I don't recall any, but from MMORPGs in general, I often found people whining about their problems in real life :P

    This one kid kept talking about how his mom didn't let him have a GF in RL so he got one in the game lol..

    12yo's + MMO's = Tons of awkward convos. nuff said ;P

    btw, he was probably referring to a RL name and not a offline name hence why he asked instead of looking or whispering. (Just a guess though.)

    The WoW community was fantastic.

    Then the beta ended.
