Anyone got a 3850 or 3870 video card in AGP configuration? Don't want to spend $100+ on eBay.

Respond here AND PM me, I don't check this forum every day.

Jared - what is that, a PCI Express to AGP adapter? Never knew they made such a thing.

Prime - There's a difference between spending $ wisely and throwing it away on overpriced parts. Some jackhole is selling a bunch of 3850s on eBay for a flat $137 each. I emailed him and told him his prices were "BS high" and I'd give him $80 for one. I got an automated multi-paragraph response that amounted to "no".

I'm planning to build a new gaming PC but might wait a little while longer, until 4 core cpu prices drop a bit after the holidays. And DDR3 tri-channel ram, too. Seems kind of silly to build a dual core DDR2 system now when things might be better in 3-6 months.

Albatron made it. It's called the ATOP (AGP to PCIe) bridge.

I just bought a new 3850 Sapphire AGP card on Newegg, $126.00 + shipping. Hope it's a HUGE upgrade from my current X850 Pro!
