Is anyone seeing problems with "View First Unread" since this change? Seems like new posts that are on the same page as the first fail to redirect to the thread. View new works if the new posts are on the following pages.

You're talking about clicking the thread title from Last Post column on the forum home page? And you're saying it won't skip down the page automatically if the first new post in still on the first page? That's been working fine for me - that bit I actually tested
The few times that post titles show, the font looks awfully big and out of place. I liked it better when post titles were tiny and easy to miss (since that's about how important they are).
Thread titles are a bug right now. The front page/forum bridge needs another couple of tweaks to prevent the default title from showing on stuff posted to the article comments.
They might still be too big, but the inconsistency at least is known and being worked on.
I've ported a slimmed-down version of the postbit to the front page - now your avatars and user titles will show up there as well.
Also, I enabled Gravatars for guests, which means that guest posters with a Gravatar.com account will automatically have their avatars appear despite not being registered here. Pretty slick feature from Wordpress
For an example, see the post by Tom (#11) in the recent SSD article - his avatar is there, and he's a guest.
[me]* Keebler shakes a fist at vBulletin in defiance[/me]
//edit: Also, now if guests fill in their "home" URL, their name will link there (both on the front page and in the forum) - and I did it with the "nofollow" attribute so search engines won't weight it (so spamming that way would be worthless)

That's friggin' sweet! The seams are disappearing
On my last gripe, I'd still love it if the UserCP links went to the most recent post. I guess it has never been set up that way before, but I can only see adding the goto=newpost as an enhancement.
Comments
//edit: Also, very yes.
Looks good, though. Good work.
Correct.
See... I am not ALWAYS against change. Good job Keebs.
Can we add that in? I often times just go there to check the threads I'm subscribed to.
