Major Problems__please help (Merry X-mas)

Hey everyone:

I posted a few days ago and the problem is getting worse...the newest symptom is that any time I go to a site like google and open a link after a search, the infecting software redirects the linked page to a page to buy a harddrive cleaner.

Plus things are getting even slower.

I would appreciate any help anyone could give me to read the below-listed hijack-this logfile and correct the problem.

    Hi, welcome to Icrontic.

    Step 1:

    Please download tools to your desktop:


    Step 2:
    Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
    • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to:
      • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

    • Then click Finish.
    • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
    • Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
    • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
    • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
    • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. please copy and paste the log into your next reply.
    • If you accidently close it, the log file is saved here and will be named like this: C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt

    Reboot your computer after the scan!

    Step 3:
    Run Random's System Iformation Tool

    • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
    • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
    • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (will be maximized) and info.txt (will be minimized)

    Dear Veka...
    Thank you for the quick response...but I believe the problems go deeper. As I attempted to download the programs you suggested...my Firefox and Explorer would not allow me to open the link. I've tried on other computers and the link is valid. I believe this is part of the virus. Any suggestions on how I can get this program on to my computer. I've tried installing it on a removable harddrive, but firefox (on the other computer) downloads the program directly to that computer's hard drive.

    Hello.

    Please check your Private Messages for further instructions. Follow them first and come back here.


    We will begin with ComboFix.exe. Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running the tool:

    Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.

    The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

    Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:

    The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

    Please continue as follows:
    1. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
    2. Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.

    When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

    Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

    C:\ComboFix.txt
    New HijackThis log.
