WTB El Cheapo Sound Card

I am looking for an el cheapo sound card for my pc, I wanna do gaming with it so i t cant be a POS but maybe a sound blaster Audigy 2 or above.


Onboard sound and vista 64 bit dont play nice

    Are you sure they don't play right? The sound codec on your motherboard is a UAA-certified audio device, which means it was specifically designed to adhere to Microsoft's new unified audio architecture standard. UAA-certified devices are all but guaranteed to work on XP and, especially, Vista.

    Also, FWIW, the Audigy 2s don't work so hot with Vista either, since Creative refuses to put out a decent driver for it.
