I need to recover some files from a HD with a virus on it. The CPU the HD is from no longer works at all. I don't want to lose all the pictures and things I had on the HD. What is the best way to recover the files without infecting my new CPU?
Hey Matty... What I do in these circumstances, I use one of these converters from Newegg and load the drive on another system. After that, scan the drive with scan with AV on any directories that you need files from.
