    You know you're in the big leagues when carbon fiber can be referred to as an "inexpensive" material. ;)

    I believe at least one other company uses chip-stacking as well; I know SimpleTech does so with some of their SLC drives.

    A terabyte in carbon fiber, though... dreamy.

    Think about other materials that could be used to get an enclosure that's thin enough to do what they're doing. We're talking millimeters thin, here, and the entire enclosure isn't CF. It's not that expensive.

    CF is very inexpensive compared to most semi-exotic to exotic materials; particularly high-rigidity alloy metals.
