Just installed my first pair of Reapers :)

Just built a box for a buddy:

Vista 64Bit
Asus P5Q MB
E8600 CPU
2x 2GB PC2-8500 OCZ Reaper
Sapphire HD 4870
500 GB Seagate 7200.11
DVD-RW
Enermax Infiniti 720 Watt PS

All nicely jammed into an Antec 900... :grumble:

I've noticed that there are different heat sink configurations as per the website images.
The ones I installed had the single nickel heatpipe...

Are the others just heatsink design differences or is the ram actually different?

Thanks

Never noticed it, but it looks like they have 3 different heatsink designs for the RAM. I bet the sticks are same, but they just tweaked the heatsink design.

Just a bump. OCZ posted more on this issue in their forum. It's all good, but in case you wanted more info, here it is.
