    I installed Avira AV on my install of Windows 7... works fine (as far as I know).

    I've downloaded windows 7 from microsoft's website (which went faster for me than multiple torrents I tried) and attempted to install it on a second hard drive and was faced with an error about halfway through "Expanding data", any ideas? This is happening on both the 32 and 64 bit versions I downloaded and the hard drive appears to be fine.

    How much space is on the hard drive?

    About 75GB, just formatted it.

    We contacted the makers of Avast yesterday to see if we could get virus samples to bork 7 with.
