I was hoping it would. There wasn't one hint about how to add it. I know you can add WZC into the registry by inputing Add but wasn't sure about Crypto
I've had a similar problem recently. Just after I'd gone through the services list with a fine tooth comb, Windows Update started to act a little eratic. All is well now I've re-enabled the afore mentioned service. Good tip.

And Cryptographic Services is not enabled

Also go to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
See if it is even listed in there.
It needs to be on or you're screwed.
If it ain't in the list of services, prepare for a windows repair install. I don't even know how something like that can be deleted.
I dont know why it isnt in my list of services Thrax, but i dont seem to be experiencing any major problems.
