hehehe...

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-144-104&catalog=147&depa=1

opinions anyone and everyone... its 15 bucks cheaper then the 512 corsair xms 2700LL and the memory timings according to newegg are the same...

Im trying to save as much as I can...

Ill probably be ordering tomorrow depending on opinions.. If everyone says it sucks then ill dig deep and go with the corsair but if this is just as good then Ill use it.. Alot of reviews at newegg ( i know they are not reliable ) say this is decent stuff...

I think that it's a mistake to buy anything less than PC3200 if you're purchasing new memory today. DDR400 stands to be the common point for which all people should shoot when purchasing new memory, and is slowly becoming the type of memory to have with your system. It's evolving into the memory one should have simply to serve the basic principle of owning a computer; getting the most performance out of it.

    That said. You cheap bastard.

    I agree,

If you can get hold of quality memory now, you'r all set for the upcoming NF3 250 chipset/FX cpu's that can take "normal" ram. I'm piling up.

add in my vote for spending an extra $30 now and having your ram usable through another upgrade. You cheap bugger :P

I agree. At least PC3200. There is even PC3500 for like $115 or so. Kingston too.

yea do go that low of speed pc3200 is a minimum. try as go as fast as your budget can handle then you wont have to upgrade for a longer period of time.

Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200C2PT

    or

Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, Low Latency 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-2700

im thinkin the 3200 like everyone said even though its not LL it does have some future proofing.. And is that 3200 any good?

The 3200C2PT should run 2/2/2 all the way up to 225 on 2.8v. I know the 12 sticks that I've seen in my lifetime do.

    That has GREAT future proofing.

Call up Newegg and give them your order number. They should take off your shipping charge for the modem and what not do to the fact that you're buying other stuff.
