    That is one of the most brutal scams I've seen in a long time...

    Free stuff in your e-mail is a myth. Not reality

    In case anyone didn't know, the IRS will never ask you for anything in an email.

    The IRS doesn't even have a "refund" department! I am sure there are many more out there so beware. Never ever give personal information over the internet. I am sure most of the regulars here at Icrontic are aware of the dos and don'ts but there are a lot of people who fall for this stuff every year.
