Printer Sharing Setup
i've got two computers connecting to the Net through a wireless modem/router...
now computer 1 is my MSI WIND laptop running Ubuntu 8.10 with Samba and computer 2 is my PC running Windows XP SP3 which uses usb wireless dongle for accessing the web... I am able to share files and stuff between the two...
my question is: How can i set up so when i want to print stuff i'll just go to file print and the printer connected to the PC will appear on my printing options?

Right click the printer under printers, choose sharing, name what to share it as, etc.
Then make sure the printer driver for Ubuntu is installed on the Wind.
You should be able to tell it where the printer is, etc.
i have installed the drivers for printer [Brother DCP-130C] on ubuntu
- Brother-Cups-Wrapper-BH7
- Brother-LPR-Driver-BH7
when i connect the printer to my laptop (Ubuntu 8.10) it seem to recognize it when plugged in, but when i click on printing it wouldn't print anything at all
hence the reason i thought if i send the printing to Windows than maybe it will work since printing works fine when printer is plugged into the Windows PC
