PCI Video issues

edited February 2009 in Hardware
Hey folks!

I just picked up a second video card for my Intel 915 board - an ATI radeon 9250 PCI card - and when I plugged it in it worked right away. My system took it as the primary display immediately. The problem I had then was that my computer failed to boot. It never even checked the hard drives. It just tested the board and it froze before it could let me into the BIOS. When I removed the card the system booted perfectly.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you tried installing it in a different PCI slot? If you have already tried reinstalling the card and the machine still does not post I would test the card and/or RMA it.
