FF3 zoom problem

Firefox 3 is rendering all of it's object as much larger than they should be. I tried reinstalling, and when I install FF2, it looks normal, but when I upgrade to FF3 again, it does this. Has anyone seen it before?

I placed the FF3 window next to an explorer window, so that you can see the scale.

It's not just the text-zoom feature. I can (and am) using that to make the pages smaller, but the elements of the FF UI are still gigantic. Those bookmark icons are set to small icons, which in FF2, and on FF3 on my other systems, makes the icons smaller than the ones in the file manager. As you can see, this is not the case on this system.

BTW: what you see there IS the 0 level zoom. I have to zoom out from default to get it to look closer to normal, and any new tabs start with this hugantic default.

Have you tried going into tools>content>Fonts and change the default.
