How do I put TestDisk onto a bootable CD?

edited February 2009 in Science & Tech
I downloaded TestDisk: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download
Which isn't an .iso file. However, I need to make it into a bootable disk to use it, any idea how I do this?

If you need it to be bootable, I think you need the DOS version. The Windows versions of it are designed to be run in Windows, not at boot (or at least that's how it looks from their readme).

This is from the readme file on the dos version.....
The DOS version of TestDisk & PhotoRec should work under
    - MSDOS 6.x
    - FreeDOS
    - Windows 95
    - Windows 98

If you are using NT 4/Windows 2000/XP/2000/2003/Vista..., run the Windows version of TestDisk.

If your pc won't boot from the harddrive and you HAVE to run it from a bootdisk you need to make a LiveCD .
Maybe System Rescue CD which is actually a Linux based bootable CD's.
OR Ultimate Boot CD which has many test/diagnostic/recovery programs built into it including Testdisk. The site also has tutorials on burning ISO's.
