Have OS, unable to install

I have 2 laptops with DVD-RW's each, plus one desktop with it's own DVD-RW. Both Laptops DVD-RW's seem to not work which is very likely.
I am trying to install SOME KIND OF OS on my desktop but unable to. Every disk I burn is bad, and my old disks are damaged. I don't even have Windows XP anymore but it doesn't matter since I can't make a copy anyways.
I am hoping there is a version of linux with ISO burn to DVD capabilities that I can put on a 4GB flash drive which I can put on the desktop to use it's DVD-RW to get Windows 7 on disk along with Ubuntu and a copy of XP.

If you have an ISO, mount it from within Windows, plug in your flash drive, and use cmd prompt to xcopy it from the ISO image to the flash drive. It's even a ton faster than installing from DVD.
There are some tutorials out there; google "Installing Vista from thumb drive" and you should find an article that'll walk you through using diskpart to activate it and using xcopy to copy it over.
