Black Box with White writing C:\

I restored my computer to a earlier date. I know am getting a message that will not stop popping up. It is a black box with white writing. It does have writing in grey on top. Do I have a virus or how do I turn it off?

    We need to know a bit more. What does the box say? What does the writing say?

    Sounds like that's just the command prompt opening up. If you close the box and then reboot does it open back up again?

    Also check in start>programs>startup and list off what it says in there.
