Bittorrent Seeding

I am trying to configure uTorrent and would like to be able to seed after downloading but I can't always do it. I am not sure if I am being blocked by Brighthouse cable or not (which uses Roadrunner). Is there anyone familiar with uTorrent?

I am not sure what settings to change but I have all sharing options enabled in uTorrent....

Thanks in advance!;)

I have Bright House and use BitTorrent and it automatically seeds for me after my downloads are complete, maybe you should try BitTorrent instead of uTorrent.

See if your BitTorrent traffic is being blocked, throttled, or capped:

In most regions of the US, RoadRunner does not block torrent traffic but caps torrent uploads at ~180kbps.

If you are using router and have static ip, check if you uTorrent port is routed properly. This helped for me some time ago.

I am not getting blocked...no firewalls are interfering...I think it's just a matter of whether someone decides to download the same file or not. But I will check out all your suggestions... Thanks!

If the file you have downloaded doesn't require more seeders then you will be effectively put on 'hold' and not seed the file until someone needs it. This may be the case if all settings are correct.
