Upgrade Graphics Card?

I was thinking about upgrading my graphics card in my laptop.
Pretty much everyone I have talked to says its not worth it and it may make my warranty void. I want to be able to play the new grand theft auto. They say everything on my pc is good, except the graphics card. I have 3 gigs of ram and a dual-core processor.

It's distinctly improbable that you can upgrade the graphics card on your notebook.

Unless you know that the manufacturer offered better video on the exact model of machine that you have then it is probably impossible to do.

Thats interesting. Guess I should have bought a desktop. I didn't know you couldn't ever upgrade notebooks...
