simulink vision

i am attempting to use simulink to track colors and shapes, then using this data track coordinates of the shape or color mass. and assistance in any part of this would be greatly appreciated.

    I dunno how to do this in simulink, but a general idea is to use edge detection, then use edges to segment the image into areas
