The old motherboard had a slot for the CD Rom drives, and this one does not. Is this something new? How do I connect the CDROM drives? There is nothing in the manual....

Use SATA HD's and use the PATA header for the CD-ROM. If you have data on the old PATA HD you can temporarily put it on the PATA header after the OS install and transfer data to the newer SATA HD.

Some newer boards have actually done away with the old IDE connections. What board do you have?

Nevermind, I see your other thread where you have one channel. Buy new SATA DVD-RWs and let the IDE units go bye-bye :)
