Problem installing Service Pack 3

Hi. When I try to install Service Pack 3 I get the following copy error:

Setup cannot copy the file write.wpc

Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change it and insert "Windows XP System Files" in the drive you specify.

There's a drop down menu.

Copy files from

C:\program files\windows nt\accessories.

I've tried a few times to istall SP3 but always get this message. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

If you haven't yet, instead of trying to install SP3 through the update service download the whole service pack and then install it that way. I've had problems before installing SP3 (not the same one your having mind you) but every time doing the manual install has worked.

Yeah, I always install my service packs from the full executable. I've never encountered a hitch, and I know plenty of people who have had their WUAU issues solved by going this route too.

A few extra minutes of download time for peace of mind is nothin'.
