PC Hang when i connect to Internet - Please Help!!!

Hello , I have a strage problem . till yesterday i can connect and browse internet without any problems with my Dell PC. today when i connect my PC to internet its hang ( i cannot access any application even ie, notepad , my computer etc...) . i cannot even shutdown . when i connect my IBM laptop to inernet its working fine . I connect again my Dell PC without internet connection it working fine ( not hanging) .. i dont know what went wrong . pls help

- Click the Do a system scan only button
- Check the following entries (below)

- Close ALL open windows (especially Internet Explorer!)
- Click Fix Checked
Close HiajckThis

2. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

• Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
• At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to
  • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
• then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When completed, a log will open in Notepad. please copy and paste the log into your next reply
  
  • If you accidently close it, the log file is saved here and will be named like this:

According to the Event ID, you have a problem related to TCP/IP. The only solution I could find was here.

Please make a backup copy of C:\windows\System32\drivers\tcpip.sys and then follow the instructions at the above site.

Trogan , The problem started again today . when i was watching a online news clip it again hang. a strage continuous beep sound also heard ( i was not sure this is from PC or modem ). I restart my PC again but connect the Internet it hangs :confused2. i dont know what went wrong. this was fixed just a day before :( dont know what to do next..

Trogan , I dont know what is happening here . now i am able to connect internet . I am posting this from my PC . It was hang when i tried 2 days back on Sunday . however i didnt try watch online news clip yet. will let you know how its going . Thanks and appreciate your help . i'll keep post the update !

Trogan , My problem solved . I done a repair using windows XP installation disk. it done the magic . Thanks for all your help . really apprecaite that .
