Free Conflicker Anti-Virus Check

Heyas all! first off this is NOT spam!

I made up a quick little website last night based on information from security companies about the big worm out there, for others to quickly check if they're infected by this nasty worm.

Site is: www (dot) outfoxed (dot) net

Purpose? Well, security sites tell us that if you do get infected, it will prevent you from being able to browse to microsoft, or anti-virus sites, and even prevents some search engines. So i've found small images (logo's) on each of the sites and linked to em where you can quickly load all of em at once.

Pics don't load? probably infected. Pics load fine? Probably not infected.

Hope this helps someone :) BTW don't miss the social-network-sharing button at the bottom.

I hope this never happens to me. Right now I'm dealing with restarting my comp in 30 minute intervals because the internet keeps cutting out.

    Hi Kithylin,

You had a good idea, unfortunately there are many other infections that will not allow those sites to load, so it's not just Conflicker that can cause it.

I see from google that you have had mixed response to you posting about this,
I understand that you are trying to help, but please can you understand that whilst your post is not spam as such it is exactly like a spam post.

Spam post = short message with a link to an unknown site (usually infected)

If you are interested in infections and how to help remove them, then you might consider joining one of the schools that train you to deal with malware.
