Some of them are very prescient, some of them read like comical "THE FUTURE OF... TOMOROOOOOOOWWWWW" predictions where nothing comes true. Altogether it's a sharp reminder of how fast the industry moves in so short a time.

    "What the hell is with this new "Flash as memory" thing? Most people know that currently Flash memory is considerably slower than your Hard-drive (except for seek times) clocking in 2MB/s maybe maxing around 15MB/s for the very expensive "23879235098x turbo ultra speed" sticks. So... why the hell would anyone want to use Flash RAM in this way? Not to mention it completely saturating the USB bus."

    The funniest part for me is that our graphics cards have the "common 512mb of ram" on them now, and that's more or less the average now.

    We should do a prediction thread with a tie back to a calender to check how on, or off we are. That would be fun, because I'm always right about these things :*)
