LAN Traffic control

Hi

I want to know if there is anyone out there know how to check network traffics for example you are admin of a networking, you want to know which computer in your LAN got more traffic of data flowing in and out more ?

I heard the computer got trojans will send lots message and cause slow network performance, I want to know how to identify that effected computer in the quick way

please share your experience

    The truest way is to have a managed switch of some sort that you can look at and view how much traffic a specific port is causing.

    If you don't have those there are other traffic monitoring software you can use to check that as well.
