cant login router

I can go online and everything through my Netgear rangemax router even wirelessly but I cannot for the life of me get logged in, I cant even get it to go to the screen where i can log in! any ideas?

    Have you tried power cycling it? Are you sure your connected to your wireless and not a neighbours?

    Have you tried connecting wired to your router and then trying to get to the home page?

    Can you ping it?

    are you sure you're going to the correct address? Some routers are 192.168.1.1 and other 192.168.0.1 and i'm sure some others are different.

    if you go into dos and do ipconfig /all look for your gateway that should be the IP for your router.

    Some routers require you to be connected physically with an ethernet cable to get to the management screen, unless you previously specified that wireless access to the admin page is allowed.

    I had this problem with my Prestige router. Try pulling the plug for a minute or so, and then plug it back in. Worked like a charm for me.
