Firefox Crashing System

Hello All,
I've got a Firefox issue I've never experienced.
One of our teachers(graphic arts) has Illustrator + other photo editing software loaded on his classroom PC. When he tries to use Firefox, his computer will BSOD.
(XP - SP3 all updates)
Other than the photo editing software, his PC is set up just like the 4000 other machines I have around the district (standard image).
Any help would be appreciated.

Is any of it running in the background? (Is there correlation between BSOD and what else is open?)
Have you tried just uninstall/reinstall Firefox? (Can we rule out a FF-only issue?)
Maybe something is corrupted in his Firefox profile? Try saving his bookmarks and deleting his profile folder under C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
