VIA selects IBM for 90nm production of Esther

VIA announced today that IBM is set to produce its Esther-codenamed processor at the IBM 12-inch East Fishkill, New York fab manufacturing facility using 90nm SOI CMOS, low-k dielectric technologies. VIA is expected to launch the Esther processors in the second half of this year.
